My account was banned; how can I appeal?

Modified on Fri, 13 Feb at 12:13 PM

When someone violates our guidelines, the Trust and Safety team will review the incident and decide what is best for our Community. In some rare cases, the team might decide to ban an account, which means that you will no longer have access to Brainly. This happened because someone broke our Community Guidelines too many times or they posted something bad enough for us to ban the account straight away.

Appeal: When the Trust and Safety team removed your page, you have 72 hours to contact us to ask whether they might have a mistake. You should be able to provide substantial evidence as to why you believe that we made a mistake.

Reinstatement: If you want to use your account after being banned, you will need to contact us so we can reactivate your account. Please note that opening a new account after your account has been banned might result in your new account being banned.

If your account has been banned, please take the time to try to understand why it happens. We believe that mistakes can happen but we also have to protect our community. In any case, the first step is always to contact us and we will be here to help.
